A 1930 post office, then the Hatley Township Hall, we completely renovated the building, flooring, electricity and plumbing to make it an office building. During the pandemic, we transformed it into a resort chalet because of its location. Discover its history

Added to the building in 2022, the penthouse gives you an incredible view of Lake Massawippi,. and its beautiful sunset. All floors are heated and there is a propane fireplace to keep you warm.
The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, with a gas stove, refrigerator and all cooking utensils, as well as fondue and raclette machines. The bathroom is modern and has a washing machine and tumble dryer.
It is possible during the week to rent only the second floor also called the “Loutre”. This floor has its own door and independent access code. The soundproofing has been specially designed and remains almost perfect.

The backyard is fenced to give you privacy for your dinners and evenings in the spa and around the fire.
Terrace space of 14 feet by 22 feet with a gazebo to protect you in case of rain. Fully equipped with a high powered napoleon BBQ, a dining table for 8 to 12 people and an additional picnic table for 16 people.
Enjoy a tabletop fireplace, heat lamp and outdoor fire pit with Adirondack chairs for unforgettable conversations with family and friends.
The chalet is centrally located in the village of North Hatley
The cottage is located on Main Street at the corner of School Street, the village’s elementary school street. The North Hatley school is less than 50 meters from the cottage and offers an accessible playground for children.
Your children can safely walk to play in the schoolyard, which features a soccer field, a toddler-friendly basketball court and a playground.
Within 250 meters: Grocery store, cafés, restaurants, convenience store (SAQ agency), wharf, beach, parks, skating rink and country market.

We have 3 children and have organized the cottage to allow families to enjoy their stay at the cottage.
Two high chairs, two playpens, children’s utensils and a huge bin of toys will keep your sweethearts busy for hours. So you can relax for a while.
What’s more, there are socket covers and a retractable barrier in front of the stairs.

We accept a maximum of two dogs in our cottage at all times. Of course, we count on the cooperation of the owner to make sure that the cottage is clean and respected.

If anything is missing, just let us know. The general grocery store is located only 50 meters from the cottage. You will find almost everything you can imagine and even more than in a traditional grocery store.
